The support bands were all fantastic for the Bournemouth show and of the course the mighty Berzerker were. I got introduced to 9 new bands basically, I also met Luke and got to talk to him for a bit and got his autograph which just made the night complete and i semi met the rest of the band. Didn't get to talk to them though or get there autographs as i had to go, which sucked

Word to that Sam,... I've not read the rest of this topic, but it's usually the band who have to "obey" the promoter, since ultimately, they're the ones who're paying everyone and making sure everything goes okay.
I knew JLK, and the promoter who dealt with Glasgow (JLK the support band).
So, basically it's up to the promoter to get bands to support their main act. Not the band themselves to bring bands, unless otherwise agreed :)

I would imagine so. Charlie Sheen was headbanging right at the front and getting crushed most of the time, so it wasn't too easy to get a view of the back. The few times I tried though, the damn projector beam blinded me so I couldn't really get a view. However, given the amount of shattered glass etc. lying on the floor as I made my way back later on, I would assume the level of violence in the pit was more than satisfactory.
