Necrophagist - Initial U.S. Headlining Dates Released

Initial dates have been released for NECROPHAGIST's upcoming headlining U.S. tour. According to the B.B. King Blues Club web site, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ARSIS, NEURAXIS, and ALARUM will be providing support. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:

April 28 - Worcester, MA @ The Palladium
April 30 - Detroit, MI @ The Modern Exchange
May 6 - Seattle, WA @ Studio Seven
May 8 - Portland, OR @ Rock N Roll Pizza
May 14 - Phoenix, AZ @ The Clubhouse
May 16 - Tulsa, OK @ The Venue
May 19 - Houston, TX @ Java Jazz
May 20 - Baton Rouge, LA @ The Darkroom
May 21 - Jacksonville, FL @ Thee Imperial
May 22 - Orlando, FL @ Island Oasis
May 26 - Virginia Beach, VA @ Peppermint Beach Club
May 29 - New York, NY @ B.B. King Blues Club

Well, since Iam a single mother of two kids with no sitter other then when I go to work, no shows for me except when my kids are at their dads. Believe me, I'd love to go. I have dreamed of and Arsis/Necrophagist tour.

haha man, thats the problem with summer tours! i'm always like "YES!" then realize it could be the day before a final. i haven't had that problem yet though, knock on wood

oh man that bites. well fuck it, opeth will be probably be playing in front of 1,500 people that night and we'll be playing in front of 10, but it will still be cool.

Not if I can help it. Im going and Im bringing people, period. Just need to know ticket price and when the dates are and where ther're gonna be in Tampa and Im there.

haha actually it probably won't be that bad....i think a lot of people who like opeth also dig necrophagist, arsis, neuraxis - and since opeth tours all the time anyway, i have a feeling at least some people will choose to come to our show that night (crosses fingers)

Truth be told, I just check the Opeth site for dates one last time. They're layout is so fucked up I missed the real date. Its MARCH 22'nd. So looks like both for me, YAY!

If it's any consolation, I'd much rather go to your show. I love Opeth and Dark Tranquillity, but I love Necrophagist as well and you guys are one of my favorite bands. Hopefully there are many many people who feel the same way I do.

Unfortunately, the Detroit show is on a sunday. :( I hope I can still make it.

Man, I cannot wait for this show. I hope "The Clubhouse" doesn't smell like pee. I've never been there, only been to the Marquee Theatre.

I'll for sure be at Houston. Venues about 3 minute drive from my house. Weirdest venue choice ever though. Average showgoers are 14 year old girls with sideways belts.
