anyone heard the madison divinity head? i heard the clips on rocksolid amps and i heard one live, but i was wondering if anyone else had any input. basically, they are supposed to be similar to dual recs, but they half the preamp tubes are different.

specs:
4 Electro Harmonix 6L6 Power Tubes , 4 Electro Harmonix 12AX7 and 12AT7 Preamp Tubes, Triple speaker outputs (4, 8 or 16 ohm selectable) ,Spring Reverb ,Foot Switch

i'm thinking about getting one, but i wanted some more convincing.

Heard those clips too...Sounds really decent for that price, pushes a lot of mids it sounds like.

i honestly think its the best sounding amp on rocksolid judging by those clips. but there's alot of other factors in recording. i heard the dude from the absence playing it last week at a show and it sounded monsterous.

I saw A Life Once Lost a couple weeks ago and one of the dudes was using a Divinity through Framus cabs. It sounded amazing.

One of the guitar player from The Absence uses Madison amps, I'm not sure which model it was but I just played a show with them and Ion Dissonance on the 31st and the rhythm guitarist was using Madison and the lead guitarist was using framus

yeah we played that show the next day. i thought the madison was the best sounding amp out of any on that tour (dead to fall, ion dissonance, with dead hands rising, and the absence).

I'm not entirely sure what they use. I wasn't aware they used Madison, though.

I'll ask my bass player, he's their tech/road guy. They're getting hooked up with some new cabs, so I'll be snatching their old ones up for next to nothing.

Literally.

I'll stink up this thread a bit. I am contemplating getting a divinity or a 6505+ since I don't have neough for a Powerball.
