I must reluctantly share.

PS: most of these are pretty stupid, or really complicated, involving shit that you probably dont have in your garage. but the more simplistic ones are sweet (ie: the foil dollar)

Most of those were written in the 80s.

Yea I noticed. The 12 cds for a penny thing works though. They won't send a representative to your home for some $50 or so..only problem is it's hard to find 12 cds you'd want in those things.

foil dollar works
taped dollar works
penny flicking works
bernsteining (obviously) works.

my favorite scam though (not too much) is one i recently came up with. I took that ticket i got... and it kinda faded a lot... because i "accidently" left it in the back of my car... and the sun got to it. so i rewrote the whole thing (as to not look suspicious) and my birthday suddenly switched from 89 to 86.

My own personal favorite scam works in the UK (i dunno if supermarkets have internal mail boxes over in the US or in Europe) anyway.

In the UK, in bigger supermarkets they have Royal Mail letterboxes inside the store, however, in the UK as in most places it is illegal to tamper with the mail once it has been placed in the mail box, the postmans sack etc.
You jake a jiffy bag into the store, fully stamped and addressed to yourself. And head towards the electronic section. grab the DVD/CD whatever you want and slip it inside the jiffy bag... don't seal it... once you get to the internal mail box (usually after the tills, but before the exit and alarms) seal your prize away, and post it.
When the postman sets of the alarms on his exit there is nothing he can do.
The only draw back is, if you get caught slipping your steal into the bag, but even if it's on camera, they can't do jack shit because once it's posted, there is no actual evidence. They can only prosecute you WITH the item you stole/had on your possession when you tired to steal it. However, to steal the item, you must of course have left the store with it...

Bernsteining is pretty obvious, seems like most people have done something like it once in their lives. I couldn't find the taped dollar or penny flicking though.

taped dollar is one of the vending machine ones. so is the foil dollar.

Drill a hole in a two dollar piece and tie fishing line to it. rop it in a vending machine and you can get as many drinks as you want.
I did this at school but got suspended after a month cause I got caught.
