I don't think they use Jacksons. Live i've seen Travis use a Fender Tele and an LTD and Kit use a Charvel and an Ibanez. Their bass player used a Carvin bass before he quit. Travis uses a Marshall head and cab. Kit uses a 5150 head, not sure about the cab. And i'm thinking the bass player used a Hartke amp, but i'm not too sure.

One of the guitar players uses an Ernie Ball Music Man, I've seen them also use Fender Telecasters and Ibanez RGs. Unfortunately I didn't make note of the amps they were using, I am only a drummer.

Travis uses an Engl Powerball (when I saw them, anyways) and a Telecaster...Kit plays a 5150 II and an RG, and he also has a Charvel I believe.

dude, he's still playing a 5150 II. Which, for the price, has a distortion channel that is just as good as any of the higher end amps.

Word...The 5150 is a bit too hot sounding for me but I stood in front of Kit when I saw them and his sound was very punchy and tight...he's also a great player!
The 5150's clean channel is so thin and dry though, haha.

I first heard them like 3 years ago on MP3.com and was blown away because of how young they were. Now it just seems old. They've been together for long enough that they should've progressed past where they are now. They're just another band.

He sounds like the guy from It Dies Today. I also think they need a better vocalist.
