Those look a lot like tinfoil and toilet cleaner bombs. What exactly are they using there?

I don't know, my friends and I grew up relatively poor and did the same shit. Only difference is we stole all of our supplies. I know what you mean though, it seems like every video you see like that is a bunch of rich kids with $2 million in houses visible in every shot.

actually, yes. this kid nick we used to skate with lived with his mother next door in new bern and went to visit his father's in salisbury, nc every other weekend. now his father owned a bowling alley and thus was rich as hell. he was the type of kid that would do anything for you to think he was cool, so everytime he went, he came back with 200-300 dollars and gave it to us (50-75 a piece) less than a month after he started getting money, we went to wal mart and got a camera to shoot all of our skate videos and drano bombs with. I think it was called a digital 8 or something. For nearly a year we had this kid paying us like we were the fuckin mob, it was awesome.

I wish I were the mob.
My friends and I would put chlorine powder and brake fluid in a 2-liter bottle and let it sit. Then it explodes and there's a 20-foot column of white smoke. We did it in my friend's cul-de-sac (middle-class, not like the people in the video) and his neighbor burst out the door and shouted "OH MY GOD! DID YOU JUST BLOW UP A SQUIRREL?!"

all you need for a dry ice bomb is dry ice.
water speeds up the sublimation but you probably wouldn't have the chance to run very far before it exploddddes.

thats what i was talking about though. i used to do some retarded shit in my time as a kid but when you see it on the internet theres always a sick neighborhood in the back or the kids are fuckin around in their parents hundred thousand dollar sportscar. i dont think these kids grow up with any values in life

in easy steps... explain to me how to make one... and how to not have it explode in your hands.

just drop the dry ice in the soda. its gonna fizz but until you put the cap on it wont create any pressure in the bottle. its almost like taking the soda and shaking it but that will not create as much pressure as the dry ice. dry ice is some weird shit. if you have dents in your car(like the small round dings) take some dry ice and swirl it around the ding and it will pop right out. its weird

yeah but like.. i need quantities. and like.. will it explode if it just sits there or do you have to make contact with something?

im not sure. ive never done it but im sure you need a good amount of dry ice to compensate for the soda. i dont think it will create enough pressure at a stand still to just blow up. that bottle will be rock hard though from all the pressure so once it hits something the dry ice will react causing it to explode

the way i used to do it is with warm water in a bottle, usually 2/3 of the way full, then pretty much cover the top of the water with dry ice (like a layer) then just seal it and run away. it will give you enough time to get away from it. the more you put in the faster it explodes..you probably get how it works.
also, if you put in a little bit of both and let the pressure build up you can throw it at something rather than have it blow up on its own.
me and my cousin have blown up a cooler with 3 3 liter bottles and a shitload of dry ice. :)

Dry ice bombs are so fucking awesome, but very dangerous.
A couple of friends and myself did a science project in 9th grade...We made a giant volcano in my friend Gary's backyard...We literally dug a pit like 4 feet wide, filled it with about 12 boxes of Baking Soda, and covered it with big rocks and mud, and poured a shit ton of vinegar through a funnel...Then we inserted a dry ice bomb, waited for like 3 minutes with a camera until the fucker went off. It was so righteous, because the whole time we were waiting, the baking soda and vinegar were 'erupting'...Then the thing exploded and sent mud flying all over his backyard...The best part is that like 20 seconds after it went off we were all standing there, and this rock fucking landed on his roof hahaha.
Improvised explosives are the best thing ever.
