Typical. Fuck this isn't easy. Pink Floyd's "Meddle" is excellent but to call it the best album of all time would be a stretch. I don't know...what's the answer?

Are we talking Pink Floyd, or all bands?

I think that "Dark Side of the Moon" is horribly over-rated. I hope i don't come across as someone that bashes something just for the sake of doing it. I've heard every second of every song that Pink Floyd has ever written and i can honestly say that "Dark Side..." would rank about third or fourth on my list. But that's not saying it isn't a great fucking album.

Pink Floyd aside, Radiohead's "Amnesiac" would definately be up there somewhere along with Bjork's "Medulla" album. Yes' "Close to the Edge" also deserves an honorable mention.

pink floyd is probably my all time favorite band. thier best albums are:

1. animals
2. meddle
3. the wall
4. darkside
5. wish you were here

i know i didn't include any of their older stuff, but i really feel they didnt develop the "pink floyd" sound until meddle.

i know i'm gonna get chewed out for saying this, and it will seem like a teenybopper fan boy, but for me, it's btbam's Silent Circus... to me.. that album is just perfect in every way. but i would have to agree that radiohead's Amnesiac is fucking key as well.
well.. anything by radiohead is key...

As far as pink floyd goes,

1. animals
2. meddle
3. dark side
4. wish you were here
5. piper at the gates of dawn (I actually like syd barrett's acid style quite a bit)

medulla? have you even heard bjork's other albums? it's good, but it doesn't even compare to homogenic or vespertine.
I've heard her other stuff but something about "Medulla" intrigues me to no end. I'm being completely serious in making my next statement...i get a boner when i listen to that album. :saber:

Edit: I can't type for shit when i've been drinking.

After much thought and careful consideration, I've decided to go with "The Lie Lay Land."

God i still can't choose one. The Sleepytime Gorilla Museum's "Grand Opening, Grand Closing" is perfect. Mastodon's "Leviathan" is also a flawless album. I hate Mason for starting this thread.
