before anything is said i love WOL. its awseome.

there's just something that seems to piss me off non stop. i can barely hear the vocals. if it was done on purpose i cannot think of a good reason why. i understand that this album was an evolution, but i dont believe that barely hearing the vocals is part of that evolution. I listen to Cannibal Rights and just the fucking brutality in the vocals are amazing. And now when i listen to Free Yourself ( new favorite ) i can barely hear Luke. i feel like WOL isnt lacking anything but more like its bound up trying to break free.

ill stop complaining now, and with all this said WOL is still very VERY good

im just wondering how you guys think about this? does it matter or not when you listen?

Well, albums are produced that way.
Thats the way luke put it when he mixed it. (remember how he said that the producer played two different types and he went with 'that one' and turned out to be his).

Its the way he wanted it, that or you are having problems with your sound system ;)

I can hear the vocals just fine.

The vocals sound a little drowned out at the end of "Afterlife", but I think that was intentional.

Yeah the vox are a little quiet, but you just need to play around with any sound settings you have available to you

i guess its only me haha. its true i have a shitty system so i guess thats what i need to fix.
