I'm sure they had no choice. Mike Smith wanted to do his own thing after Breeding the Spawn. The drummer that replaced him was never permanent. Dave Culross had his own issues. And they even had Kevin Talley fill in on a tour, but was also never permanent. I have no clue about why Cerrito or Richards left. But when you are in a band, you want to just keep things going, that’s just the way it is. You lose a member and it sucks, but you do whatever it takes to keep the music flowing, because it's your life. It would be weak to break up a band just because you lose a few members. Shit, we lost our bassist (Derek) to Suffocation, but that’s the way it goes, and we took care of the problem by getting a new bassist. It's a matter of how bad do you want to do this? And some people will do anything to keep the gears turning!

The line-up at the moment is great, I think.

Keith Devito did replace Frank on one of the European tours and I'd say he'd be the best guy to sing in Suffocation besides Frank.

Anyway, it's good to see Frank being in Suffocation and maybe Keith should re-join Pyrexia... "System of the animal" is killer. I've also herad rumors of a project of Doug Cerrito, Cris Richards and Doug Bohn... well... Keith would be the right guy to sing there, too...
