? Drummer Inferno undergoes surgical treatment and not able to perform while he recuperates

Poland’s blackened death metal outfit BEHEMOTH have been required to cancel their approaching look on the Rockstar Energy Beverage Mayhem Festival due to their drummer Inferno taking ill and requiring surgical treatment.

The band’s front-man Nergal remarks; “This need to have been the most difficult choice we were forced to make recently. Leviathan is known for not canceling any programs or tours. However this is not something we can do when we are missing our driving force, the guy behind the drums ? ? Inferno. Unfortunately, he was hospitalized due to appendix surgery and it’s gonna take him few months to completely recover and get back to shape. We are trying to preserve selected European Festivals with a fill in drummer (Krimh, ex-Decapitated), but we won’t be running the risk of doing a full-on prominent tour like the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Celebration without Inferno. Behemoth is a strong space and any component of this unit missing out on makes us weaker, and that is not how we desire to provide our new product to our fans. Please, accept our apologies and be patient, we shall return to Europe (this fall) and US (early 2014) empowered and encouraged as never ever prior to!”

The Rockstar Energy Beverage Chaos Festival is set to kick off on Saturday, June 29 in San Bernardino, CA and functions bands such as Rob Zombie, 5 Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, label mates Amon Amarth, Device Head, label friends Job For a Cowboy and Battlecross, Kid of Bodom, and lots of more. For tickets, dates, contests, and more, go to the Rockstar Energy Beverage Mayhem Celebration Authorities Site and follow the tour on Twitter and facebook.
