Prince Pulls Off Ridiculous Ego Fueled Stunt
How about this for ego? The Gear Page is running a little blurb on how Prince ended up absolutely wrecking a vintage 1961 Epiphone Crestwood … that didn’t belong to him. Before performing on the Jimmy Fallon Show on March 1, Prince ended up asking to borrow a guitar from Kirk Douglas of The Roots. During the performance, however, Prince decides to get all ‘rockstar’ and smash the thing to bits, thus leaving poor Captain Kirk Douglas with a ruined piece of equipment. Purple Pain indeed.

Let’s be honest. Prince isn’t even that good anyway. To take it one step further, Prince refused to sign the smashed piece of equipment as well. What a dude.
