Dave Grohl has started a new band. After it was announced that Foo Fighters were breaking up then NOT breaking up, but instead taking a hiatus, it looks like a few of the active band members need to find new side-projects and things to do. It has already been confirmed Dave Grohl will drum for QOTSA, and now he is on to a new band: Sound City Players.
The Grohl project Sound City Players will make their live debut on January 18 during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Sound City Players will feature special guest musicians and other fancy folks who can play musical instruments.
The Sound City Players getting together will mark the opening of Dave Grohl‘s documentary: Sound City.
