Trent Reznor and Dr. Dre to Collaborate

A match made in rip-roaring beat heaven. On one side of the table, Trent Reznor, the other side, the inimitable Dr. Dre. For those who are hoping it was a music collaboration, well, prepare to be dismayed. It’s more product focused. Earlier today, Beats By Dre just announced the  launch of The Pill wireless speaker, which will retail at $199 and will sit between the headphone and speaker product sets…and Trent Reznor‘s collaboration is likely to be much of the same.

The party line being rolled out by Trent Reznor can be found below. Cryptic of sorts, but it should enhance his bank account quite nicely if things pan out.

“For the past year I have indeed been involved with Dre, Jimmy Iovine, Luke Wood, and the rest of the team on a number of very interesting projects that will start to emerge next year. I have been wanting to experiment and focus my energy and creativity in some different directions, and Beats has afforded me that very opportunity. The process has been challenging and fascinating and as much as I’d like to tell you about the things we’ve dreamed up… I just can’t. Not yet… (I can tell you it’s probably not what you’re expecting!)”
