Sick Drummer Stealing From Charities and DEATH?

Sounds like VIP attendees to the DEATH To All Tour, a tour put on to celebrate the band DEATH and the life of Chuck Schuldiner while raising funds for cancer, were getting the short end of the stick from sponsors Sick Drummer. Broken  by Gun Shy Assassin, the article is not pretty reading. Put it this way, “In some instances, fans are owed between $400 and $600″, and some of that money is supposed to be going to the Sweet Relief Charity.

DEATH‘s manager Eric Greif  has taken to the web to put Sick Drummer to task over:

  •  unfilled VIP merch orders from the Death To All Tour.
  • a failed CD release.

There is public outrage on the official Death Facebook page as well as the page of the Death To All TourIn particular, the SMN Forums have blown up about the issue – join in the heated discussion.

When Gun Shy Assassin reached out to the newphew of Chuck Schuldiner, this is what came back:

?I loved the Death To All show in Orlando, and I know the fans did too. There was definitely the spirit of Chuck filling The Beacham. However, the colossal screw-ups perpetrated by Sick Drummer boggle the mind. Knowing what I do about the degree of bullshit on the part of those guys from Sick Drummer Magazine makes my head spin and would be enough to enrage fans if they knew the details, which I?m sure will surface sooner or later.?

How this pans out will be incredibly interesting. Given the fans reactions alone, it makes for compelling reading. Stay tuned to SMN.
