Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival Tour In Trouble

Papa Roach has dropped off the Rockstar Energy UPROAR Tour 2012. It leaves the mainstage with one less band. As shown with the official UPROAR Festival tour dates, the tour is less than a week old. It’s TBD if Papa Roach will be replaced.

Reasoning behind Papa Roach dropping off is due to Jacoby Shaddix, singer for Papa Roach, being diagnosed with a ‘node on his left vocal chord’. He will be forced to undergo surgery.

As of now, the festival promoters do not seem to intend to replace Papa Roach -- but instead claim ‘main stage performance schedule will be adjusted to allow longer performances from Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind and Adelitas Way.’ When you look at the new schedulue (plus, I went to the Scranon one) they do indeed allow now a whole extra 5 minutes for the other 4 bands….but as of now, none of the 4 bands have added any new songs to their setlists. So basically we have lost Papa Roach and not gained anything!! What a lie!!!
