Agent Cooper, the progressive leaning Southern rock band featuring former Fozzy member Mike Martin, who is signed to Steve Vai‘s label Digital Nations as a solo artist, are feeling quite generous. Go here to grab a free download of the new song ‘Mother’ from their upcoming EP. The band will be releasing a series of EPs throughout the rest of the year and through 2012. The group is offering their music for free to encourage concert attendance and social media interaction.
“It has been a whirlwind for me this past year,” guitarist Martin told Noisecreep. “Steve Vai is one of my all-time guitar heroes. Signing a distribution deal with his brand new Digital Nations label for my solo album ’2 of 5′ last year and getting ready to release my next one soon is incredible! It’s a wonderful business relationship as well as a personal milestone.”
