Alexisonfire Break Up

Alexisonfire announced that it has disbanded.
“Almost a year ago, Dallas [Green] informed us he would be leaving Alexis after we finished our Old Crows/Young Cardinals tour cycle,” vocalist George Pettit commented. “Trying to balance his life between touring with us, and at the same time quelling the success of City And Colour was a task too difficult to continue managing. He informed us he wanted to focus his efforts on City And Colour.”
Following the release of the band’s Dog’s Blood EP in November 2010, the group attempted to find a replacement for Green, Pettit admitted, stating that ”time got the best of us.”
