The recently reunited System Of A Down has announced that they will be performing a small number of shows in North America before they head to Europe this Summer (System of a Down European Tour Dates, plus showing at Download Festival).
A message from the band reads as follows:
We’re excited to announce a handful of North American headline shows before our trip to Europe this summer. Gogol Bordello will be joining us as special guests.
The first group of System of a Down tour dates are listed below, along with on-sale dates and ticketing information.
5/10/11: Edmonton, AL – Rexall Place (on-sale Sat 3/5, 10am MST)
5/12/11: Vancouver, BC – Rogers Arena (on-sale Sat 3/5, 10am PST)
5/13/11: Seattle, WA ? Key Arena (on-sale Fri 3/4, 10am PST)

I’m extremely irritated that you guys are coming to denver on the night of EVERY high schools graduation…The 18th is every major High school’s graduation date out here….FFFFFFFUUUU that sucks
I’m very upset that only two Canadian provinces will be visited. Of course, we always lose out here in Manitoba. I’ve listened to you guys for years and dreamed for the day I could see you live in concert. Since I’m still in high school, it looks like I won’t be able to make any of the shows in Canada.
