Vocalist Rob Halford has confirmed that JUDAS PRIEST will be retiring, or breaking up, whatever makes you sleep easier at night. Don’t worry though, his solo act HALFORD will still be alive and well. Catch JUDAS PRIEST on their European farewell tour, with more world tour dates expected shortly.
Well, they do say that all good things come to an end and that’s probably the case in this case.
JUDAS PRIEST quipped:
After storming the world for nearly 40 years, this will be our final world tour.
But we’ll certainly be going out strong as we rock the planet. With all guns blazing and amps cranked to eleven, the band will be giving all their fans one last chance to witness the ultimate metal experience.
Here’s hoping they can put together a new album on the way out too. The Nostradumas album left a lot to be desired and should NOT be the last album of new material that JP releases to the world. Also wondering if this will eventually become one of those ‘what farewell tour’ type things where they tour every few years after the farewell.
