Take the hallucinogenic tea, for example. How does that change the fact that Jesus died on the cross for mine and your sins? I get it, you don’t believe that, but if you are just willing to search, internet is packed with incontrovertible proof against evolution if thats what you believe. And if you believe in satan, what do you think is the opposing force? if there is none, what do you think is holding him back from destroying you and me? The truth is, satan already lost the battle.
metal is not satanic unless the lyrics are. Metal becomes satanic only when the artist’s mind is set on worshiping satan or death or whatever you consider evil. A simple drum beat or a guitar riff cant be either satanic or christian by itself, it only becomes such in the context of the song (the lyrics, the theme of the album, etc.)
As for the “distorted meaning” game, have you heard of the dead sea scrolls? They were found in a cave in the settlement of Qumran in 1947. They contained the writings of the old testament and when they were compared to contemporary manuscripts, they were basically the same.
OH and btw, the earth is about 6-7 thousand years old. I know they taught you in school that the earth is billions and billions of years old, but its just the only way they can even consider evolution as a theory. The method so called “scientists” use for determining different stuff’s age is called carbon dating. look it up, understand it, then come back and read this. It is used on the principle that there was an equal amount of carbon-14 throughout the whole existence of the earth. That is an incredibly insane assumption and there is absolutely no proof or even a single reason why scientists stand by that, except that they have no other leads. The Bible is the only source that gives correct information about the earths age.
Please understand, I am NOT attacking you and I am NOT accusing you. I am no better than you, just like no other christian or any other person in the world is better than any other. We are all sinners and in need of salvation. Christians are not “flower children” who smoke pot and hold peace rallies. Christians are peaceful because we have no right to be angry at someone or to mistreat any one person because if Jesus Christ forgave the dirty bunch of us humans, we have absolutely no excuse for getting angry at someone.

Ok if use the internet to find facts than you aren’t really getting 100% truth. Yes there are lots of useful true facts online but what it comes down to is that you don’t know who the author is and if anyone checked their work. The internet just makes it possible for everyone to state their views how they want too. In fact I have talked to priests who say the bible isn’t to be taken as an account for what has happened and how we got here. Furthermore that science gives us facts that can be hard to deny, religion is and idea of how to live your life. The world is billions of years old and there have been religions that pre-date Christianity by 2000+ years. Christianity is just a branch off Judaism. The bible is a great fictional story based on the events of Jesus Christ and for the most part is chronicled by his followers. This type of thing happens all the time with any cult, yes Christianity is like a cult. Man claiming to be son of God or even God himself, hmmmm sounds familiar with many recent groups. But following cults is bad right? I mean how can someone actually be the second coming of Christ? But wait if one person who claims to be happens to inspire you than oh wait maybe they are the second coming. Come on Christians can’t even agree on their own religion together, and tend to know less about their own religion and other religions than atheists. The bible is just a guideline of how to live your life using the idea of big brother. You can get many of the same morals without it though, it’s just about who you are and how you view other people.

Carbon dating does not work. A test run on a 50 year old bone will tell you that it is millions of years old. They are purely theoretical. Now do you really think that a fish could evolve lungs and start breathing air? To develop and pass on lungs to its offspring, the fish would have to run back and forth from water to land. If a human tries that, will he grow gills? Now i understand that these animals wont grow gills in a single lifetime, but they would have to grow at least something to be able to pass it on. If the same human goes in the water every day for as long as he can hold his breath, gills will not form, but lung capacity will increase.
Now if you believe in punctuated equilibrium, the creature that would spawn after one of these explosions of toxicity would not be able to reproduce with its own kind because it would be too different from its “peers”. unless they all transformed into the same kind of creature of course. I dont think scientists even tried to calculate the chances of THAT happening. And that doesnt even bring into account that radiation kills and very swiftly, so they would have no time to reproduce.

If you had read my previous posts, you would see that carbon dating does not work and that is the way that scientists determine the age of the items they find. I am not saying that i have proven here that carbon dating does not work, it has been proven for me everywhere on the net.

Well, this is certainly an interesting discussion, even if it is two months old (as of the latest post) at this point. I am so glad that others have seen the light and now know, without a doubt, that metal does not have to be evil. It is all about the meaning behind it all. If I were to write a song about Satan and evil things, then, yes, the song would be “evil”. The genre of the music means nothing. Someone could write a rap song (if you can even call rap “music”) about Satan, death, killing, etc. That doesn’t make all other rap “songs” evil or about those things. The same goes for metal. I love bands like Demon Hunter, August Burns Red, and others like them. They are Christan AND metal. GO JESUS!!!!!

Jesus is the Son of God and the most beautiful to ever walk this planet and He is the only 1 worthy of praise. We should pray for all of mankind as the time is short. They will be so disappointed when they find themselves in hell and realize they were deceived. They think it is going to be a party place full of fun and happiness, only to find out that they will burn. I would like NO one to experience that, but I cannot keep them from what they desire. Music is not good or evil, it is what it is used for, the words that are sung that makes it either praising satan, praising the true God, or praising self, which is the same as satanic, because satan wants us to serve self. The problem with christians is many of them go to church on Sunday and act like the rest of the world Monday-Saturday, and that is why so many hate christians. I am not a christian anymore, I am a follower of Christ. I have changed what I call myself only because I do not want to be associated with these false believers. We have to shine our light and quit living like the rest of the world. And I will close with this…..there are many bands who claim to be christian but show they are not. Look at the new record by POD, it has the head of Baphomet on the cover, the other symbols POD is using are VERY occultic……and many other bands are coming out now and also others in history, who have associated themselves with evil like DC Talk. Check out their DVD title Supernatural Experience. Check out Stryper and all of the occultic signs on their albums. I would hardly say they are of God. It has 24, then 24, then 24 which is 6…6….6. Petra and the pyramids. We need to pray and ask God to show us the truth, learn about occultic signs and symbols and only then will you learn if what you are listening to is really CHRISTian. Remember, he comes as an angel of light to deceive. Just because they say they are doesn’t mean they really are. Study the lyrics, watch the signs and symbols and make sure…..One of my favorite all time bands is Barren Cross. I have never seen any signs, symbols, or lyrics that would indicate they are evil and the quality of music is outstanding. God bless all believers and I pray that any unbeliever would find the truth before it is too late….oh, and anyone that would post after me and call me nasty, unGodly names will only be added to my prayer list, so fire away….I will only pray for U even tho I am certain U will post for me not to. Jesus is the way, the truth and the light and no man comes to the Father but by Him. Period.
