The official lineup for the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival 2010 will be unveiled on January 20. Stay tuned for more details. For now, rumored artists include:

German stalwarts RAMMSTEIN could even make a surprise return to US shores as a surprise headlining act.

Oh wow, look at this totally generic and bland shitfest. Well I’m not sure about Mutiny Within yet, I’ve heard good things but yet to check them out. I’d be interested in seeing Rammstein, but not interested enough to be pay the ticket prices to be close enough to one band. Fuck arena shows. Yeah it’s solid, pffft. The same exact few bands that headline every other big metal tour. Completely bland and unoriginal bullshit.

the way I see it, everyone on the Mainstage but Rammstein should get 30 minutes. Rammstein should get WELL over an hour.
This is anything but a weak lineup if the first four bands are on the bill. Metalcore bands are a dime a dozen today, but bands like KSE and Unearth were doing it when most of you were wearing Jnco’s and pretending to be skaters.
I really don’t know what you guys expect from a somewhat mainstream tour sponsored by a mainstream energy drink. Who did you think would be on this tour? Marduk? Mayhem? Fucking Varg himself? Get real and get some realistic expectations.

Mnemic is an interesting one. Get rid off Otep, replace As I Lay Dying with the far superior Shadows Fall, ditto Whitechapel with All Shall Perish, and it’s a pretty decent line up so far.

Unoriginal, yea, well if you want to sell tickets, you need these people. You can’t have a tour filled with no names, it would do no better in a club. Now, a death metal 3rd stage would be fine, last year was fantastic. Better than Ozzfest in some years actually. Rammstein though, everyone in Pittsburgh at least, would fucking love to see them come. I say bring it !

If its true, and if Meshuggah is going to be on there, im there. I saw Rammstein back in 2001 on POA tour, they were sick. But Meshuggah, oh man, fuck yeah. Im going to rip someones fucking head off when they play “Future Breed Machine.” If you guys havent seen Meshuggah live, all these other bands arent going to mean shit after they play. I do love these other bands though, dont get me wrong. That would be sick if they put Decapitated on the bill to, even though it wouldnt be the original line up, that would still kick ass. Dethklok and the red chord to, you put those bands on there, im gonna have to go home in a fucking bodybag.
Bring Me The Horizon is the best modern day Metalcore band, they should be in this Mayhem, they are known for causing mayhem.
