OZZY OSBOURNE’s upcoming album will be titled Soul Sucka. The Kevin Churko (Shania Twain, In This Moment) produced effort will hit stores this upcoming summer.

A legend doesnt need to appeal to anyone. He can do as many dumb tv shows and commercials he wants, He will always be a fucking metal Icon
His name will definitely go on, but after all the shit in the past 10 years, the term ‘icon’ is very arguable these. At the very least, he USE to be an icon. And why wouldn’t he want to appeal? I mean, with Sharon and all, of course they would want to appeal to the teeny boppers. Most assuredly most people over 20 will look at that title and go “What kind of non-sense is that?”. Now maybe if this was the title of Rob Zombie’s new album it’d be different, but this just sort of painfully stands out from the rest of the Ozzy album titles. But who knows, the album might be decent though, but I highly doubt it. I’ll stick with Heaven & Hell.
Its not arguable at all. Black Sabbath, Paranoid, MOR, Vol 4, Blizzard, Diary, BATM etc. As for Abortion Sabbath ill pass.

Making money is one thing. Making money and exploiting your husband’s drug-caused neurological damage is another. Still love Ozzy though That album title is horrible.

Yeah it’s alright to want to make money, I mean, people have to make a living. But to go about it in such embarrassing and obvious ways makes me sick. The way she completely whored out Ozzy’s name was disgusting to any real metal fan and even to many of those who didn’t listen to metal because she made all so apparent. But hell, I’ve loathed that dirty bitch since the first time I saw the Osbournes long ago. Pre-2000’s Ozzy was iconic, everything after is just an embarrassing joke, mostly thanks to Sharon.
I wonder how that lawsuit against Iommi is doing, I haven’t heard about it in a while? I hope Iommi crushes his ass in court. That lawsuit was pure fucking greed coming out of the Ozzy camp. The most at all he deserves is 25% on ONLY the albums he was on.

Everything that I read said he wanted 50% of ALL Black Sabbath earnings, regardless if he was on the album or not, unless the lawsuit was altered after it was announced.
And part of being metal isn’t attempting to have a talk show and a variety show amongst all the other silly shit they’ve done. I’ve stuck with bands when large portions of the old fan base cries sell-out, but the last 10 years in the Ozzy camp has been way too much for most fans to deal with and I’m certainly not the only one. Lacuna Coil is the only other one I can currently think of of bands that I liked where the sell-out just became all too apparent.

i dont see the big deal of him doing a variety show. like i said before hes earned the right to do whatever the fuck he wants. when he dies (if thats even possible) people will remember the Fucking Blizzard of OZ and all the classic Sabbath albums nobody will remember the variety show jthat got like 2 episodes. So in that sense i dont think it will touch his legacy at all.
