Slipknot Tour Dates with Deftones Announced

Following on from the hospitalization of drummer Joey Jordison, SLIPKNOT have announced a string of fall tour dates, including some special appearances and make-up dates.

The band will embark on a three week run in October, hitting mostly west coast markets. SLIPKNOT will headline the Cypress Hill Smokeout in San Bernardino, CA on October 24. The tour will end with SLIPKNOT headlining the first annual Trinity of Terrors at The Pearl Concert Theater in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Halloween. This run of dates will also include two previously postponed shows from last month. Sacramento’s own DEFTONES will provide support beginning in Portland, OR through San Bernardino, CA.

October 11 – Toyota Center – Kennewick, WA
October 13 – Memorial Coliseum – Portland (w/ Deftones)
October 15 – Pacific Coliseum -  Vancouver, BC (w/ Deftones)
October 16 – Save On Foods Center – Victoria, BC (w/ Deftones)
October 18 – Shaw Conference Centre – Edmonton, AB (w/ Deftones)
October 20 – Calgary Corral – Calgary, AB (w/ Deftones)
October 21 – Star Theater – Spokane, WA (w/ Deftones)
October 23 – Event Center at San Jose – San Jose, CA (w/ Deftones)
October 24 – San Manuel Amphitheater – San Bernardino, CA (w/ Deftones)
October 29 – The Palladium – Los Angeles, CA
October 31 – Pearl Concert Theater – Las Vegas, NV

    These are all big ass venues….they used to have ozzfest at the White River Amphitheater. The last time I saw Slipknot was on the 2nd stage at the WRA. It’s ok to see multiple bands, but I’m sorry, WRA is too big for this shit. Slipknot can’t pull this shit off anymore – maybe back durnig IOWA, but not now.

    It’s also open air – shitty sound and overpriced seats!
