Former Trans Siberian Orchestra Electric Violinist Makes Solo TV Debut

On Thursday, August 13 at 9 p.m., New York metro area public television station WLIW21 presents the exclusive broadcast premiere of The Mark Wood Experience, his first TV special since leaving Trans Siberian Orchestra. In this new half-hour performance special, the acclaimed electric violinist performs his original compositions with vocalist Laura Kaye (James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz) and his electric string orchestra. Songs include “Vivaldi Rocks,” “World Vision,” “Hoedown,” and “Hands Across the Ocean.” Preview video can be found over at wliw.org.
