The End Records Signs The Super 8-Bit Brothers (Members of Tub Ring)

The End Records has signed video game inspired indie-pop act The Super 8- Bit Brothers and will  release their their suburb-inspired, Atari-worshipping debut full-length Brawl October 13.

When it comes to melding the worlds of video games and music, no one does it better than Chicago’s Super 8-Bit Brothers. Sporting impeccable musical pedigrees, Rob Kleiner (Tub Ring/ex-Mindless Self Indulgence) and Kevin Gibson (Tub Ring) combine danceable indie pop with lyrics ripe with for people who’d rather stay in or do a basement boogie, Brawl is the post-Postal Service, pre-Tron (Legacy) soundtrack of the indie generation.

Performing live since 2004, the duo have shared the stage with artists like Mindless Self Indulgence, Electric Six, and Foxy Shazam, at video game conventions and rock clubs around the country. With Brawl, the Super 8-Bit Brothers are ready to step out of the labs and basements of the world and fill the sonic space on your hard drive. This Fall the Super 8-Bit Brothers plan to hit the road in support of Brawl, Tour dates will be announced shortly.
