Betrayer to Release “Ages of Defiance” in October 2009
BETRAYER are currently recording their new full length album titled Ages of Defiance. 9 tracks are fully written and the album is expected to be recorded, mixed and mastered by the end of October, 2009. No release date has been announced at this time.
The album is currently being recorded at Spectre Sound Studios by engineer Glenn Fricker, who has worked previously with such acts as LAMB OF GOD, WOODS OF YPRES, BLOODSHOTEYE and BLACK KREEK.
Shawn Bastien went into the studio on July 20 to start laying down the drum tracks. Everything is sounding great so far and Shawn was able to wrap up the drums completely on July 25. Jeff Klingbeil recorded the guitars on August 1.
The album will be mixed and mastered by renowned musical producer Fredrik Nordstrom from DREAM EVIL, whose credits include ARCH ENEMY, OPETH, DIMMU BORGIR, DREAM EVIL, HAMMERFALL, THE HAUNTED and IN FLAMES.
