I think it’s funny how defensive Slayer fans get when their favorite band gets bashed.
GWAR is a million times better than anything Slayer ever tried to do. Which is basically make the same song a million times like AC/DC. Slayer is a dying band that needs to toss in the towel.

Gwar has opened for LOG before, LOG headlined the first Sounds of the Underground tour and Gwar did the ‘halftime show’ and Slayer just got billing over Megadeth when i saw them in Winnipeg so how are they washed up by any sense?

Untiil gwars last album they never made any music that came close to their stage show. one solid album doesnt make you classic, even if their stage show is.

Seriously, Slayer is one of the most talented bands and established serious longevity, however their writing has just become down right monotonous. i’ve seen Slayer fuck up every other song in their set before (honestly, how can you screw up raining blood??? Slayer did it). The way i see it, you are only as good as your live show. Ive been bored by slayer every time i’ve seen them. You know the DVD “Still Reigning”? I was there. The ONLY time the crowd shots are actually in real time when they are playing is when they are showing the band as well. What I mean is, when they pan out to the crowd, 90 percent of it is from HATEBREEDS set of the same night. They had cameras rolling during hatebreeds set ONLY on the crowd, and then used the crowd shots in the DVD to make the place look more full.
so if slayer are sooo good and huge metal gods, why are they relying on hatebreeds crowd for their DVD? hmmm
GWAR’S NOT EVEN A GOOD BAND!! They know how to through shit at the fans. They have ONE good song (“Let Us Slay”) and it’s not even amazing. And Kerry King’s the best metal guitarist alive.
