if they really want to draw people and gain loyal customers they should go the extra step and offer “loaded tickets”

ie, with your admission you also get your choice of a concert t shirt from any band playing and/or an album, etc. or even better…just offer credit, say if you don’t want a shirt or cd(s) you could use it to get food and drink or some other merchandise. and if they really wanted to get on people’s good side, they could offer to refund whatever amount you don’t use. even with that promise they’d still make money because a lot of people probably wouldn’t even bother trying to redeem it, especially if they only had a couple of bucks left on it or something. just a thought. they do this at a lot of minor league baseball games in the USA and it helps draw a shit load of people.

I think the list price of an Offspring ticket through livenation this past time around was $34.50. Well after all was said and done, I paid $49.50. I could give a flying fuck what Livenation wants to supposedly promise people… that $15 extra per ticket shit is ridiculous. Ticket Bastard was never that bad… I am used to paying maybe $5 extra.
