After CHTONIC’s “Farewell To The Old Style” concert on May 23, Taiwan’s metal warriors invented their new look according to traditional “Taoist curse words” to replace the original black lines on their faces. This was done to create their own unique style based on their own culture and characteristics. Check it below. A video from the “Farewell To The Old Style” concert is available below:

Well I like a lot of Asian culture and it’s pretty easy for me to tell the difference in looks and speech. Speech should be especially easy for anyone to tell if they just have the slightest knowledge: Chinese names: Zhou, Ding, Han, Chan, Bei, Japanese: Kawasaki, Sonomura, Mayuzumi, Natsumi, Takeda. Pretty blatant difference in language to me. And technically, if you call the Tiawanese, Chinese, they will most assuredly get pretty pissed off.
And really, to me, it’s obvious to me only one of them is a girl.

These guys sounded like shit at Ozzfest 07. Doris is not a good bass player, and it was obvious (the bass was louder than the guitars). Looks do not make talent. Also, they sound like huge Cradle of Filth rip off’s. The only original thing about them is their lyrical content, but then again, I don’t know of many Tiawanese bands.
They kicked ass at the Ozzfest date I saw them on.
Even for being Taiwanese they are far from being uber eclectic/original in metal standards. I wouldn’t say they completely blow ass however that bitch on Bass can blow me anytime! Five dollah suki suki!!
