Kylesa Announce Dates With Coheed & Cambria

KYLESA, whose new album, Static Tensions, has been praised by Decibel as “their best album yet” and by Pitchfork as “one of the best albums of 2009,” wrapped up a six-week tour with fellow Georgians Mastodon on Friday night (May 15) with a sold-out show in Atlanta.

Although Kylesa has been touring steadily throughout the year, including regional dates with Amebix and Skeletonwitch and a seven-show Japanese tour in February, the Mastodon tour marked the first full North American tour in support of Static Tensions. The band will continue touring through month’s end, including two shows in the Northeast alongside Coheed and Cambria. Newly confirmed dates include the following:
