Alkaline Trio Dropped By Epic Records, Form New Label
Tuesday, May 5, 2009
After one album, 2008’s Agony & Ecstasy, ALKALINE TRIO have been dropped by Epic Records. The band will be starting a new label and self-releasing their next studio album. Check out a performance of one of their new songs below filmed at the band’s May 3rd performance in Worcester, MA.
GOOD!!
Not that I am a fan or anything….but that sounds like a terrible business move to me.
This song already sounds better than anything off of their last album.
From someone that is a fan, a huge fan at that, it is a great move for them because their last album was disapointing…at best
yeah I’m so happy about the decision to leave Epic.
Its clear how much the bigger labeled influenced there latest album “Agony and Irony”.
It wasn’t all that bad though. More like an Acquired taste, but at least we wont have to get used to it. :)
