coheed and cambria are quite possibley the most original/ most unique, and definitely one of the most talented bands to the day.

All of you knocking this pair are redicoulus. The reason Slipknot and Trivium and Coheed were put together IS BECAUSE THEY ARE ON THE SAME GODAMN LABEL… thats how they do these things… if any of you sods knew shit about the music business…
I love Heaven and Hell, I saw them with Priest and Testament. ONE of the best shows ever, Dio and tony and Geezer and Vinny… IT was INCREDIBLE!
I also love Coheed and Cambria. I saw them on Neverender- IT WAS FUCKING INTENSE- especially when they broke into Iron Maiden at the end.
Coheed is not an emo band, they are a cohesive progressive rock band with some punk/emo tendancies coupled with a unique concept and powerful musicianship. So shut the fuck up.

Chris Pennie being in coheed makes in almost watchable. Almost.
So on that note, Coheed is as progrock as Nickelback.

Stop hating coheed they’re an amazing band, obviously the managers/labels have reasons for pairing the two…my guess is money, relax if you’re going it’s not like you have to watch them!
So for any one who thinks coheed is “sad” Remember where good music comes from, when there was good bands like black sabbath and alice cooper. When they didnt just pound on the power cords and throw double bass with a blast beat for four hours of thrash metal. Thats the music coheed tries and successfully portrays give it a good hard listen before you put it down because they have a powerful classic metal sound and they are far superior with there musical talent and deep lyrics. So again if you think coheed doesnt match up to classic bands then take another listen to there deeper stuff, such as 2113, or al the killer or any number of there other songs just take the time out before you insult an amazing band.
Coheed also brings some hot chicks to the show
anyone bashing coheed has probably never seen them in concert. They are one of the few modern bands trying to create something unique with obvious influences from Rush, Black Sabbath, etc..
The other amazing thing is they’ve seduced a new generation of kids that love the music. It’s a pretty amazing accomplishment with todays cookie cutter pop and nickelbacky bands.
SO, check em out, they won me over and I was a very pessimistic father taking his son to a concert.
