More than 8,000 AC/DC fans have been conned into buying dirty filthy fake tickets. Perhaps the title is a little harsh, but shady concert promoters in Romania raked in over $435,000 in fake ticket sales for a bogus show in Bucharest, Romania, next month before the con was rumbled.
If they’d managed to sell all the tickets, organizers would have walked off with millions, local media reported. It was only when the Aussie rockers posted a warning on their official website that the scam was revealed.
The asshats putting it on have apparently fled to Israel and their company PlayCool is no longer trading.
