Canada’s politically charged powerhouse THE AGONIST are back in the limelight with the release of their sophomore record, entitled Lullabies For The Dormant Mind. The band are currently touring alongside THE HAUNTED with plans to hit the road with THREAT SIGNAL, ATHEIST, and THE FACELESS later this year.
The band is now excited to release a video for the track “…and Their Eulogies Sang Me To Sleep”, which is currently available below…the video was directed by the acclaimed David Brodsky (The Black Dahlia Murder, Earth Crisis)

well this sucked.
It’s like i’m hearing two songs here. It starts out a derivative black metal track, then becomes a derivative metalcore track.
Overall, it’s just more unoriginal metalcore, with the riffs sounding like a whole ton of other stuff….except they’ve piped in those lame sampled vocals to make it derivative metalcore + the worst of Cradle of Filth “black metal”
Visually it’s kinda dull… same couple shots over and over for 3 minutes. Slideshow much?
