The guitars are so well executed it makes my Ex-Favorite guitarist Fredrik Thordendal's (Meshuggah) mind blowing complex riffs sound like utter shit. Seriously, I think this single track has made me consider no longer listening to the Metal and focus on Commercialized Punk. I honestly think 21st Century Breakdown may very well be the greatest album ever released. Go buy the song TWICE just to support Green Day and their fight to unbind the American youth's (8yo's) and warp them into the proper mindset of knowing that Green Day is the end all be all of excellence in musicianship.
