Artwork for Green Day’s “21st Century Breakdown” Released

The disc will hit on Friday, May 15. Produced by Butch Vig (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins) The album is the trio’s first studio effort since 2004’s two-time Grammy Award-winning American Idiot.

21st Century Breakdown is divided into three acts: “Heroes and Cons,” “Charlatans and Saints,” and “Horseshoes and Handgrenades,” and follows a young couple, Christian and Gloria, through the century so far.
