Disturbed Premiere Video For “The Night”

MySpace Music has just premiered the video for “The Night” from hard-rock titans DISTURBED. The band enlisted director Noble Jones (3 Doors Down, Jack’s Mannequin) this time out and the clip’s stark imagery is fitting for the track’s dark guitar tones and brooding vocal melodies. Jones looked to classic sci-fi/horror movies like Alien and John Carpenter’s The Thing for inspiration and the results are haunting.

“The Night” comes off Indestructible, Disturbed’s Gold certified fourth studio album. Continuing their exhaustive touring in support of the album, the band is currently headlining the “Music Is A Weapon” tour which runs through June. Check out all of the band’s tour dates here.

Good video, song sounds just like the rest of the Disturbed discography. However the solo was pretty decent for a Disturbed song.

Getting a life will help you not get so angry over music

Shit this is absolutely amazing. Disturbed are such an amazing, talented band. They pack so much integrity and emotion into their music. Probably in the top ten greatest rock/metal bands of all time.

I’ve been listening to “Believe” a couple times every week since it came out years back.

This song is rock solid, particularly because Draiman can do no wrong, but i didn’t really like the solos. They need to tone that down. That’s not what Disturbed did in their prime. Keep it to the basics guys, don’t fix what wasn’t broken.

Disturbed is a shitty homogenized horseshit version of metal dumbed down for mainstream audiences.

Disturbed fucking rule unless you are deaf. The Sickness redefined the landscape of heavy music. It’s impossible to escape the influence of that record. That and somehow Disturbed have yet to make an album that is anything less than a 10/10.

^^nice list, but I’d drop Death and Carcass and put on Korn and MAYBE Alexisonfire (not that big a band, but fucking reat!)

That’s actually surprising. I wonder if more fans of Disturbed are also into the older rock/metal outfits. I would of course have to disagree with everything you said. But still impressed and surprised at your list.
