In honor of AS I LAY DYING’s upcoming DVD release This Is Who We Are (out 4/14), Metal Blade has just unveiled a new trailer for the set at www.Ultimate-Guitar.TV
Directed by Denise Korycki (Cannibal Corpse: Centuries of Torment DVD) This Is Who We Are provides viewers with live performances and a complete As I Lay Dying audio/visual history.

Seriously one of the best bands around today. Way technical, heavy as hell, awesome emotion-laden melodies, and mindblowing songwriting….and they don’t need a whole 500 minutes to do it in, unlike overrated, boring pieces of shit like Opeth.

Quite possible the individual two posts up is being sarcastic, but in any event, AILD does write good songs and they put on a hell of a live show.
And, speaking of Opeth, they are horribly overrated. Great musicians, but the songwriting is nothing special by any means.
