Psycroptic Guitarist Explains Technique and Picking in Guitar Video

Guitarist Joe Haley of PSYCROPTIC was recently interviewed for FPE-TV. In the clip he explains his technique, song writing process, gear set up, and hybrid picking among other things. View the 28 minute clip below. The guitar lesson segment starts around the 9 minute mark. Performances of songs from their Nuclear Blast debut Ob(Servant, including the title track (19:40) and “Horde in Devolution” (23:03), are also included.
PSYCROPTIC is currently on tour with reunited metal legends CARCASS, along with SUICIDE SILENCE and SAMAEL. Following the tour the band will immediately join the “Blood Apocalypse” tour with SUFFOCATION, WHITECHAPEL, DECREPIT BIRTH, and VEIL OF MAYA.
