Chimaira Release First Single From Forthcoming Album
CHIMAIRA, are set to give the world their first taste of The Infection, with the release of their first single, “Secrets of the Dead.” The song will be available for purchase via iTunes and can be heard streaming on the band’s official MySpace page. “Secrets of the Dead” is also featured on the MySpace Music and MySpace Metal homepages.
Chimaira will also be taking pre-orders for The Infection, which streets April 21 on Ferret Music, on their webstore starting today. Included in the Pre-order options will be the first-ever Chimaira Deluxe Fan Edition Box Set. Check out the store to see everything included in this very limited item.

CHIMAIRA is currently gearing up for their slot on the Music As A Weapon Tour, where they will be supporting Disturbed, along with Killswitch Engage and Lacuna Coil. The full US tour in support of The Infection kicks off March 20 in Madison, WI.

Theyre not bad but Mark really is trying way too hard on the growls. Impossibility of Reason is definately going to be the album that makes them who they are.
Also, it’s not very good to start the song with a breakdown.
