Mastodon Teams Up w/ SMN News For New Giveaway

The grand prize is a Gibson Melody Maker while the first runner-up will get a Limited Edition Deluxe copy of Mastodon’s upcoming Crack the Skye album. Sounds mediocre at best. I think they write decent music together, but aside from the few standout tracks the rest are quite boring and uninspired. Unfortunately the studio allows mediocre musicians to sound great especially with their vocals. On the recording it sounds good, but anyone who has seen them live understands how awful their combined singing voices are and how they use autotuning devices to reach the symmetry in their voices. Was hoping for a better result, cool graphics though
I love the new album, but i do agree about the above comment about the autotuners, but they are a very very good band a great live band.
