Sentenced Guitarist Miika Tenkula Passes Away at 35

SENTENCED guitarist and founding member Miika Tenkula sadly passed away yesterday, February 19, at the tender age of 35. The cause of death has yet to be been revealed, although bandmate and drummer Vesa Ranta has claimed that Tenkula “had a serious drinking problem for many years”.
SENTENCED performed a series of ‘farewell’ shows over the course of 2005 in support of The Funeral Album.

he and his band showed a lot of despair and pain throughout their music, but I know it’s helped me out with my demons. I don’t believe in the afterlife, but I hope his family and friends are ok. miss ya dude!
