Rise Against To Headline Summer Tour w/ Rancid Opening
RISE AGAINST announce a summer tour with punk rock legends Rancid as their special guests. The tour kicks off June 4th in Vancouver and continues through July 31st. See below for a list of U.S. & Canadian tour dates. More dates to be announced soon.
Rise Against released their fifth studio album, Appeal To Reason, on DGC/Interscope Records last fall and it debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart as well as spending one week at # 1 on the iTunes album chart. First single, “Re-Education (Through Labor),” was a top 2 hit at modern rock radio and new single “Audience Of One” is poised to top the charts as well.
Also on the bill this summer will be Riverboat Gamblers (June dates) and Billy Talent (July dates) opening the shows. Check out all of the dates here.

I do. They are both great and Rancid is practically punk royalty. Go listen to Yanni and keep your mouth shut, mister anonymous.
Only bad part of this tour is that there are NO CHICAGO dates, and half of Rise Against are FROM CHICAGO.

Yeah, why no Chicago show?!?! Closest one is St. Louis. I think its bullshit. Maybe Rise Against no longer gives a fuck about the people from Chicago who supported them when they played shows for 10 people and it was shit. Oh well.
