Black metallers GOD FORBID have a new contest running over at their Ning which gives fans the opportunity to speak with Dallas Coyle himself. All you have to do is post a picture of yourself in the comments section of their group on Ning wearing the t-shirt and holding the CD Earthsblood in order to get a free phone call from Mr. Coyle. Hey, it’s a good idea.

that’s Black metallers because they’re black AND play metal. not because they play Black Metal.
this band should be ashamed of themselves. hipster trendy douche bags with fat egos! i don’t understand the black metal comment… i can’t believe the rock star attitude though. especially when it’s a band that nobody gives a fuck about.
It’s more down to Earth than you fuckwads give it credit for. Hell, Manowar at one point (Don’t know if they still do) would personally call people who ordered merchandise off of their website.
Is making the time to talk to a fan, no matter what the reason, really an example of rock star ego? I beg to differ.
I can understand speaking to him to an extent, because he does some kind of band counseling and has a website for it. Basically he takes the music and lets the person know whats going in the right direction, what sucks, whats rehashed crap, or if they should give it up. I don’t see the point in entering a contest to speak to him.
I could probably have easily spoken to any of them at many of the shows I’ve seen GF at. I can easily speak to him over at metalsucks.net, which I’ve done. He emailed me back years ago when I was but a high school metalhead complaining about them headlining above a bunch of shitty hardcore bands. Basically he agreed with me, said they’d tour with better bands, then toured with Anthrax/Joey.
