Golden Gods Awards to Hit America

America will finally get their first-ever hard rock and heavy metal music award show. Dubbed the first annual EPIPHONE Revolver Golden Gods Awards, it will take place Tuesday, April 7 at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles and be broadcast on MTV2 as a one-hour special debuting Saturday, May 2.
- Ozzy Osbourne will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.
- Comedian Brian Posehn will host.
- There will be special appearances by Lemmy Kilmister, Glenn Danzig, Maynard James Keenan, Chuck Billy, Eric Peterso, Protest The Hero, Marta Peterson, Isis, Brendon Small, WWE wrestler CM Punk and many more.
- Performances from Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, All That Remains, Suicide Silence and a special guest to be announced soon.

I WISH Brian Posehn was funnier, I really do …but the guy is just really mediocre
though I’d take him over the likes of Dane Cook, Katt Williams, Carlos Mencia,Margaret Cho, Lisa Lampanelli, Jim Breuer or Demetri Martin ANY day.
