How come no one’s said anything about Deicide their like my favorite band. Though they could of said something about Kreator their better than most them bands on the list. Others that are lesser known that should be said the band INCANTATION, the song by Jungle Rot-Dead And Buried is a good song.

this list missed Opeth, one of the greatest death metal bands of all time (yes they are more progresive now but their roots are in death metal and even today they are still considered a progressive death metal band) and Lamb of God (granted this is streching the conditions also as they started a death metal band but now fall more under the genre of groove metal, but they are still an absolutely amazing band)
Suffocation – Liege of Inveracity
Best song from ‘Effigy’, from a band that made Death Metal brutal back in 1991! Thats why it should be in the top ten, if not even number 1 itself.
