Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Summer Festival feat. Marilyn Manson, Slayer – Tour Dates, Details
Organizers of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival announced today that MARILYN MANSON and SLAYER will top the bill on this year’s highly anticipated tour, which is set to kick off July 10 at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Sacramento, CA. The festival will tear through 27 cities in the US and Canada. Mayhem tickets will go on sale to the public on April 24.

The only bands worth anything on this tour are Slayer, Behemoth, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Cannibal Corpse
suicide silence played last year, i dont think they will play again. the 4th band on that stage is the jager battle of the bands winner
slayer and behemoth are touring for 3 weeks in b-markets/non-mayhem fest towns before mayhem fest
All great bands, except Bullet, White Chapel, and Manson.
Other wise, I’ll need to get in shape for all moshing I will want to do.
This is a good tour with many strong bands.
And for those of you who are too dense and too stubborn to understand, some (read: some) of these “core” bands are on their way to attaining successes, fan bases, and legacies similar to that of bands like Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, etc. Whine and bitch all you want, but that’s the reality of things.

Anyways, this is a great festival/tour. I want to see every band (except BFMV). Hell killswitch makes the tour better, in my opinion. This is a good, diverse festival/tour. It is a mix of different bands that everyone wants to see.

The guys who created this tour might be upset when they dont sell nearly as many tickets as last year.I’m also not suprised that san diego got left out this time seeing as how the crowd turnout was pretty bad last year.

I LOVE how a good majority of people that commented this post are saying how they hate this band or that band, usually the ones that, in fact, are really popular [& I realize that doesn't mean you can't criticize them, just stating.]
Now, those of you who claim that bands like Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth & Slayer are the only ‘good’ bands on this tour and the rest are shitty ‘core’ bands (whatever that means) should probably try & realize that even THOSE bands had to be hated at some point before they got big & were liked. Chances are, even those bands will reach the success that EVERY band strives for.
Go & enjoy the music you like. If you don’t like the band, fuck it; just ignore the fact they’re on the bill. Diverse shows are good for EVERYONE. If you bitch about a few of the bands on there, chances are you’re just being selfish in the sense you want all the bands to be ones YOU like.

as much as i love manson, he put on a gay ass show in august. the bile on fire pumped me up and even more so when i caught his hat. but other than that he was being a total fag! SLLLAAAYYYER was the SHIIITT! i caught tom Arayas Pik! he’s so beautiful.. they put on a great show. 5-10ft away and i couldnt stop smiling and dancing. every lyric every note every song almost gave me an orgasm. woohoo fuck me slaytanic army!!! killswitch pretty good. could’ve been a bit better.
