The scenester infestation of the metal scene continues (along with CARCASS’ cash-in reunion tour) with this year’s California Metalfest, which includes a date of the upcoming SUFFOCATION / WHITECHAPEL tour (which is expected to feature DECREPIT BIRTH, VEIL OF MAYA, and PSYCROPTIC):

I don’t know what’s worse, the unsubtle cashing in by what used to be a legendary act, the fact that any shitty ol’ last minute convergence of shows gets called a fest, Suffocation’s insistence on being on awful tours, the scenechode lolcore bands, or the horribly derivative delegates from the artless modern tech-death community.
