Axl Rose Continues to Bleat as “Chinese Democracy” Sells

GUNS N’ ROSES‘ new album, Chinese Democracy, continues to steamroll US charts. It’s plowing ahead with almost 50K sold in week three, and has shifted over 365,000 units since its intial release on November 23.
Axl Rose has also responded to further questions about the breakup of the original lineup and other issues in a rambling post over at My GNR Forum. Hot topics include usage of the band/brand name GUNS N’ ROSES, past members, his ego, and much more.

New Album is ok there are some good tunes on there, but it just seems to be missing somethin(s)!?
This album will always be remembered as the day that Dr. Pepper fucked up. Nobody really cares about this band anymore.
if you put aside how long it took, its a good record and in my opinion “better” then either of velvet revolvers albums
further proof that you can never underestimate the stupidity of humans in large numbers
Uhh, Steamrolling?? 365,000 in THREE weeks??? Both Metallica and AC/DC pretty much doubled that in their FIRST week alone. I was under the impression that this album was a flop (at least by the standards previously set).
The difference is the promotion and Axl’s lack of appearances. AC/DC and Metallica tour to promote the album. Metallica’s album is sold everywhere. AC/DC at Walmart, G N R at Best Buy Naturally a Best Buy exclusive wasn’t smart. Axl doesn’t really do any interviews or anything to help himself either. The album is great but did you really think it would live up to the hype?
If your child has been bad, give them this album in their stocking this year.

This band, it’s members past and present, egos, and anything to do with this entity, are the gayest fucking fagballs thing ever. Fuck that, listen to FOBBBBB lolzzzzzzzz
I havent heard much of it.. is it as over produced as one would think an albumn would be that took 15 years to release? I would guess yes.
