It looks like MARILYN MANSON will resurface to co-headline the 2009 Rockstar Mayhem Tour in the US this summer. He’ll be joined by SLAYER and TRIVIUM, with a potential series of “extreme” metal acts to accompany the more popular bands on the bill. BEHEMOTH are being heavily touted as that more “extreme” support option.

It is rumored from “Kerrang” magazine that Slayer will be touring with Manson for “Mayhemfest 2009″. How can you believe this crap? The original manson/slayer tour in 2007 may have seemed successful to some, but the majority of people(including myself) despised this! I understand, Hot Topic sponsored the tour. Once is enough! Do you really think Manson and Slayer would rejoin again only less than 2 years later? And besides, Slayer just got back from Europe doing Unholy Alliance 3 with much better bands than Manson!
